Lithuania and Poland – Divine Mercy


    1° day WARSAW

    Arrival in Warsaw, meeting with a tour leader, transfer from the airport to the hotel in Warsaw, check-in, dinner. In the afternoon sightseeing the Old Town.

    2° day VILNIUS

    After the breakfast a transfer to Vilnius. Arrival in the afternoon. Check-in. Dinner. We visit Gates of Dawn and Mother of Mercy. The Holly Mass in the chapel. Come back to the hotel. Overnight.

    3° day VILNIUS - TRAKAI

    This day in the morning we visit the Rasos Cemetery, the oldest and most famous cemetery in the city. Then we go to the very recognizable monument - the Hill of Three Crosses, where according to a legend, seven Franciscan friars were beheaded on top of this hill. Here we can admire very beautiful view.


    After that we go to Trakai, a historic city and lake resort located near Vilnius, where we visit the Island Castle, Church of the Visitation of Blessed Virgin Mary. We taste a dainty of regional cuisine – ‘kybyn’. Come back to the hotel. Overnight.

    4° day PŁOCK

    After the breakfast, transfer to Płock in Poland. Check-in, dinner, overnight.


    Breakfast. In the morning we visit The Divine Mercy Sanctuary in Płock, the place where Saint Faustina Kowalska reported her first vision of the Divine Mercy image. The chapel is located at the Old Market Square. Free time to visit the city. In the afternoon transfer to Głogowiec, where is located Marian Shrines. It is exceptional place for Polish people, strong connected with their history and the struggle for independence. Transfer to Częstochowa. Check-in, dinner, overnight.


    After a breakfast we visit Jasna Góra with local tour guide. We see the Knights’ Hall, the Chapel of Miraculous Painting of Our Lady and the Basilica of Jasna Góra, the 600th Year Anniversary of Jasna Góra Museum and the Treasury. After that a free time to individual prayer.

    In the afternoon we visit Wadowice, the city of the Pope John Paul II. We go Karol Wojtyła Foot Trail and see the most important places connected with the Pope: Minor Basilica dedicated to the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Family home of John Paul II, Market Square – John Paul II Square etc.

    Transfer to hotel in Cracow. Check in, dinner, overnight.

    7° day CRACOW

    After the breakfast we visit The John Paul II Institute “Have No Fear!”, which is the most important center of the living memory of the work of the Polish Pope and the person himself. It is John Paul II’s spiritual church. It is an expression of gratitude of the Polish nation and all people of good will who feel a close connection with John Paul II as a person and his work, regardless of their nationality and denomination.


    In the afternoon we visit Divine Mercy Shrine in Cracow-Łagiewniki. It is the place where we find St. Faustina`s Convent. We join the 3:00 pm. Mercy Hour. We have Mass in the chapel at St. Faustina’s Convent and a talk by one of the sisters of St. Faustina’s order. Free time of an individual prayer. Overnight.


    After breakfast we will visit Salt Mine in Wieliczka, one of the main tourist attractions in Poland. We will see magnificent chapels, religious sculptures carved in salt, unique views.

    In the afternoon guided city-tour in Krakow. You may see the Royal Wawel hill, The Old Town, Planty Park, Bishop Palace where Saint John Paul II used to meet with Young People, University, Mariacki Church, best example of gothic architecture in Krakow, Jewish Quarter Kazimierz (if you prefer we can also arrange a fun-tour to Comunism Quarter of Nowa Huta). Dinner and overnight.

    9° day DEPARTURE

    Transfer to the airport, departure.
